What is Virtual Reality (VR)?

We offer two main types of Virtual Reality, panoramic environments and objects. Both types are user-navigated movies that can be explored using either Windows or Mac.

VR panoramas simulate environments that we can view at 360 degrees.

Object movies allow the viewer to manipulate an object from many sides.

QuickTime VR is the most widely recognized player for photo-realistic virtual tours. Because QTVR is part of QuickTime, there are many unique features and useful benefits to using it, and it offers an open-ended ability to customize the VR being created.
